Akriti Bopanna

Based in India, Akriti’s work is centred on policy and advocacy issues pertaining to internet governance. She focuses on shaping technical standards to be human rights respecting at standards developing organizations.

Previously, she was a Policy Specialist in India’s G20 Secretariat at their Ministry of External Affairs. Prior to that, she was the Global Policy and Advocacy Manager at Internet Society. She has also chaired the Cross-Community Working Party on Human Rights at ICANN.
