GPD provides briefing to states involved in GGE and OEWG on stakeholder engagement

Global Partners Digital (GPD) has provided a briefing to the member states engaging in the UN’s First Committee Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) and Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG).

In the briefing, we emphasise the need for transparency and openness in order to ensure meaningful input into both the GGE and the OEWG. To this end, we first outline separate measures tailored to the GGE and to the OEWG, before proposing a series of cross-cutting measures which would enhance the openness, inclusiveness and transparency of both processes.
